Lawn Care Technician/Mosquito Sprayer

Location: Kirkville, NY. Servicing the Greater Syracuse Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20+ and hour.  Competitive wages based on experience

About the Role:

Premier Lawn and Mosquito Services is looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Lawn Fertilization Technician and Mosquito Control Specialist. This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working independently, and making a visible impact on clients’ properties.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Apply granular fertilizer and liquid pesticide treatments to residential and commercial properties using a ride-on spreader/sprayer and backpack equipment.
• Evaluate lawn health during each visit; diagnosing issues such as disease, pests, or drought stress.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with the office and occasionally with clients.
• Educate clients on treatment programs, products used, and best practices for lawn health.
• Document services and property conditions through our user-friendly field service software.
• Maintain and manage your assigned route with professionalism and efficiency.
• Load/unload equipment and materials; drive company non-CDL vehicles safely.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Experience & Licensing:

• Lawn care experience is preferred but not required—we can provide paid training and certification.
• NYS Pesticide Technician/Applicator license is a plus.

Job Requirements:

• Valid and clean driver’s license.  Required to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
